WELCOME TO( OPUS PILATES )

( OPUS PILATES )

Whether you’re new to Pilates in general or just new to Opus, we’re so happy you’re here. Everything you’ll need to know about getting started with us you can find below.

YOUR FIRST CLASS

We offer group, private, and semi-private pilates classes. If you’re new to pilates, or just new to Opus, we do recommend taking a private class before signing up for group classes to help you understand the basics and receive the guidance you need to get the most out of the Pilates system. Ultimately, it’s up to you!

As a new client we also offer two pretty amazing offers to welcome you into the Opus studio experience:

THREE GROUP CLASSES

$75

THREE PRIVATE SESSIONS

$300

YOUR FIRST CLASS

  • Our classes are 55 minutes long. Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first class to fill out some paperwork, meet your instructor, and settle in.

You’ll want to wear something that you can easily move in, preferably without buttons or zippers. Form fitting clothing will help your instructor see your alignment, but above all wear something that you feel comfortable in. Bringing a water bottle is always a good idea!

  • Pilates at Opus is a guided, instructor-led experience centered on precision, breath, and control. You’ll be led through thoughtful sequences designed to build strength, improve alignment, and support long-term movement health.

Expect clear cueing, a supportive pace, and hands-on guidance when helpful. The movements are often small and deliberate, but they work deeply — prioritizing quality and awareness over speed or intensity. Classical Pilates is deceptively powerful and you can expect to feel both challenged and supported, grounded and awake.

  • After class, many clients notice a feeling of length, lightness, and subtle strength throughout the body. Muscles may feel worked in a balanced, intelligent way, posture often feels more upright, and movement can feel easier and more connected.

It’s also common to experience a sense of calm focus or mental clarity — that signature post-Pilates glow. You may feel energized, centered, or pleasantly sore the next day, all signs your body is adapting and getting stronger. Keep going!
